Dr. Aswathi Jayaram Speaks on the Future of AI in Obstetrics at SOAP 2025

We’re proud to share that our co-founder, Dr. Aswathi Jayaram, was invited to speak on the prestigious President’s Panel at SOAP 2025 (Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology), contributing her voice to a thoughtful and forward-looking discussion on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in obstetrics.

Joined by a panel of visionary clinicians, researchers, and innovators, Dr. Jayaram explored how AI is reshaping the landscape of maternal-fetal medicine—from diagnostics to decision support—helping improve outcomes for mothers and babies.

As a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist and Director of the Fetal Imaging Unit at the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Jayaram brought insights from both the clinical front lines and the innovation space. Her remarks highlighted:

  • How AI is supporting everyday workflows for academic physicians,

  • The role of clinician-led innovation in building responsible, effective diagnostic tools,

  • The importance of preserving clinical judgment while enhancing accuracy, speed, and access.

This dialogue is part of a growing movement to ensure that every diagnosis matters—especially in women’s health and prenatal care.

We’re honored to see Dr. Jayaram represent maternal-fetal medicine at SOAP 2025 and grateful to be part of a community working together to transform care through technology and collaboration.
